California poppies in bloom

Rooted in California

Mothership

We plant California native and organic plants, creating gardens that thrive naturally in our local climate and support the ecosystem around them.

Growing with the land,
not against it

We are a California-based gardening team with a focus on native and organic plants. Our work centers on selecting and planting species that are naturally suited to California's climate and soil, helping gardens establish themselves with less water and maintenance over time.

Every project is different, and we work closely with each client to understand their space and goals. Whether you have a small front yard or a larger property, we can help you explore what's possible with native plantings.

Planting with purpose

Our work is rooted in planting native and organic plants suited to California. Here's how we typically approach a project.

01

Site Assessment

We visit your property to understand the existing conditions, including sun exposure, soil type, and how the space is currently used, before recommending any plants.

02

Plant Selection

We help you choose from a wide variety of California native and organic plant species that are well-suited to your specific site and personal preferences.

03

Planting & Establishment

We handle the planting and initial care to give your garden the best start. Native plants often need some attention early on as they establish their root systems.

04

Ongoing Guidance

We're happy to share what we know about caring for your plants over time, and we can discuss additional services depending on your needs.
