Native Plants
We work with a wide range of California native species. Here are some of the plants you might find in our gardens.
Eschscholzia californica
The state flower of California. These bright orange blooms thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, returning year after year with minimal care.
Achillea filipendulina
A tough, drought-tolerant perennial that produces clusters of bright yellow flowers. It attracts beneficial insects and requires very little water once established.
Ceanothus spp.
Also known as California lilac, this native shrub produces dense clusters of blue or purple flowers. It's a great choice for adding structure and color to any garden.
Nemophila menziesii
A charming low-growing wildflower with delicate blue and white petals. It self-seeds readily and does well in partial shade, making it versatile for many garden spots.
Clarkia unguiculata
A showy native annual with vibrant pink to magenta flowers on tall, graceful stems. It's easy to grow from seed and brings bold color to wildflower gardens.
Salvia spp.
California's native sages are aromatic, drought-tolerant, and loved by pollinators. They come in many varieties, from low groundcovers to taller shrubs.
